    The Avengers: Illustrations

The Avengers movie is close. Pretty close I could say. And the fan art war between this one and The Dark Knight Rises is huge. In some parts of the world a movie can generate more hype than an economic crisis. Anyway. Thats another huge talk. I will leave it for now on and just [...]

    CINEMA: ” Chicken with plum”

Remember the movie Persepolis, of 2007? Of Mariane Satrapi, Iranian, exiledfilmmaker through which comics had a lot to say about life, love, politics, memory, sensations. More autobiographical. Ms. Satrapi then returns with a new film that excites the audience of the Thessaloniki Film Festival. “Chicken with Plums” voila the new title. The whole story, as she says, has twothemes: love and politics. The second subcutaneously. Because: ”I talk in my filmsso mild and subcutaneous policy, because only then will I find reason to saysomething about the situation in Iran.” From interview. In Tehran in 1958 the talented musician Nasser-Ali, unable to replace the brokenviolin, decides to die. While staying in bed without food in his room, recall the past and everything that led up to [...]

    Theatre: “The road passes through”

The Art Theatre is closed and celebrates seventy years of operation (1942-2012).Therefore we had to build a performance by actors who contributed and participatedin this course, which was not easy at all. The dramatist who linked closely to thecreation of this state and died last year , was James Kambanellis. Double wordsneeded here … The director Diagoras Chronopoulos, loyal associate of Theatre Art, select the project (better the play chooses him): “The road passes through” for the occasion. With arguments, common mood and hypocritical Code, the actors (AlexandrosPeros, Alice Alexandrakis, Aslanoglou Maria, John and John Drakopoulos Fertis) show a representation, symbolic, and timely. A hoary Own a house “ghost” that lives with his memories, to all the old furniture and all the symbolism, class and chronological as they are loaded, and the maid, [...]

    The 3d wreath at Pallas

What to say and what to -write first for the show for the actors, for their work, theauthor, space, music … the list goes on! Let’s start from somewhere: the thirdwreath, the project established his author and placed him among writers of his generation. Costas Tachtsis, had proposed the novel in 3 (!) Publishers whorejected it. Until issued in 1962, with his own money! Genre painting and historical, sensitive and moving, everyday and archetypal at the same time as it presents through the personal lives and experiences of two women(Ekavi and Nina), the modern history of Greece. Sometimes decisive in the foreground, sometimes as [...]
