Hideo Kojima is a very talented individual, many can say he is ingenious. In the following video Hideo Kojima announces that he is not going to take place in this years E3. But! He will join next years E3 with his upcoming game engine. Too bad cause it would be great to have one more Metal Gear Solid game this summer…
He and his company called Kojima Productions are in the process of developing their next game (though info on that remains untold), but not just a game. They are going to make a new game engine to build this game onto.
After the insisting journalist in the video, Hideo Kojima just told not a single detail about the upcoming game, not even if it is a Metal Gear Solid sequel/prequel… nothing! He just focused on the news about their game engine.
The new engine from Kojima Productions is called Fox Engine, and its main feature is that its multiplatform and Hideo and his team (and whoever else will buy this engine) will not spend time on programming different versions of the games for different platforms.
Did anyone told this guy that Unreal Engine almost does these things, and also the newcomer Unity 3D game engine also??? Come on tell us what we want Hideo and we Might! buy your game engine if its good!
