Social Media play a major part of our lives these times. Many parts of this world do not have electricity yet, but in most developed countries Facebook and Twitter and other social media websites are used to promote, to connect and learn news. Classic media is almost dead. Long live the voice of the people and social media.

Twitter recently posted a quick guide for journalists. In this guide they give out some examples of how a journalist should use twitter for his job to digg news, and be quick. This guide includes topics like, how to search and advanced search in twitter, what applications should you use, how to publish in your timeline etc. Most of the things in this list you already know, but if you are an old timer journalist, or new to Twitter then its worth to check it out. I almost forgot the basic… over 73k people in this little community (I don’t think they are all well respected and established journalists, but some might be and their advice and examples might worth gold).
